STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN SEASON 3 AND AHSOKA SEASON 1 ON 4K ULTRA HD STEELBOOK
Disney and Lucasfilm are set to release the third season of “The Mandalorian” and the first season of “Ahsoka” on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray SteelBook. These releases, available for pre-order starting October 31, mark the first time these seasons of the Emmy-nominated shows will be available for ownership. Notably, these will be the first Disney+ Originals to include 4K Ultra HD Dolby Vision along with Atmos audio, following previous Lucasfilm Collector’s Editions such as “Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Star Wars: Andor Season 1.” The sets will feature brand-new box art designed by Attila Szarka, collectible concept art cards, and other bonus materials.
The third season of “The Mandalorian” shifts its focus more on Bo-Katan Kryze, played by Katee Sackhoff, who is a Mandalorian without a tribe. Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and Grogu continue their adventures after reuniting, following Grogu’s choice to be with Din rather than complete his training with Luke Skywalker. They join forces with The Children of the Watch to battle against the Empire led by the returning Moff Gideon. The bonus features include “Honoring the Magistrate: A Tribute to Carl Weathers,” who played Greef Karga, “Galactic Legacy: The Creatures and Droids of The Mandalorian,” and “Forging the Covert: Part Three.”
“Ahsoka” Season 1 will include bonus features such as “Ahsoka: Legacy,” which explores the development of Ahsoka’s live-action series, and “Ghosts of the Past,” which spotlights Ahsoka’s allies like Sabine, Hera, Ezra, and Chopper.
Both releases will be available nationally on 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Atmos audio, ensuring a high-quality home theater experience. The physical sets will have a 2:39:1 aspect ratio and include English Dolby Atmos and 2.0 Dolby Digital Descriptive Audio, along with Spanish and French 5.1 Dolby Digital options. Subtitles will be available in English SDH, Spanish, and French.
